Warm vanilla cabinetry, countertops with a suede finish, and a dimensional subway tile backsplash are a few of the selections that bring character to this cottage style home. By maintaining a similar cabinet layout, we were able to reuse the existing hardwood floors. The area off the side entrance into the home was enhanced to include a bench with shoe storage and hooks, as well as additional cabinetry.
A dull, main floor bath was refreshed with clean, white tile, and blue accents. Chrome plumbing fixtures bring a timeless shine along with a pedestal vanity and mosaic tile floor. The new bathroom is a showpiece and looks as if it were original to the home.
Beyond Kitchens favorite moment:
By staying true to the cottage style of the home, we were able to incorporate so many fun details such as a bookshelf cabinet, a furniture toe kick detail, wainscoting, and charming plumbing and light fixtures. The character is what makes this project so special!
